The Best Swing Set Assembly and Installation Companies

I’ve been assembling and installing playsets and swing sets for 40 years this year.  Over that time I’ve learned what it takes to be successful in this, or any business.

The bottom line is excellent quality and dependable service, at a fair price. Not just one time, or occasionally, but every time. To do what you say you are going to do when you say that you are going to do it. That, in a nutshell, has been the secret of our success.

There are basically two types of playset and swing set assembly and installation companies or services in the U.S. . . .

One type is the independent installer that may have done this for a long time and may be very good at what they do. However, they are typically just one person, so they get backed up with work very quickly.  That means that unless you catch them at the right time and at the beginning of the season, you are going to wait for weeks and perhaps even months sometimes before they can get to your assembly.

The other type of playset and swing set assembly company is the so-called National Playset Assembly Company. This type of company exclusively uses independent contractors from wherever they can find them.

They are always continually head hunting for people to do their assembly work.  Primarily because they do not pay very well, so the person that they enlisted will move on to something else.  Truthfully, you can have a good experience with one of these companies. But it is also true that it is very much hit-and-miss.  There is no guarantee that you will have a good experience.  You only have to read their reviews to learn this.

This is why that some of the ones that actually have a Facebook page have disabled their reviews page because of so many bad reviews.

The national company is a logistical nightmare of trying to manage 100s of independent installers nationwide. They are continually trying to find new installers because of their huge turnover.

We have taken a completely different approach.  First, even though this is very much a seasonal business, our installers stay with us season after season.  They do this for a couple of reasons. . . First, they enjoy what they do and are very good at it. The second reason is that the lion share of the assembly fee goes to them. I believe that the lion share of the profit should go to those that do the work. People who are compensated well for work that they enjoy tend to stay.

This means that the customer gets a more experienced, highly qualified installer, and not an inexperienced novice that’s on his first assembly job. No one wants to put the safety of their children in the hands of a person that does not know what they are doing.

Because we have several experienced crews to cover the New England area, we do not get backed up like the individual installer does.  Even in our busiest times, you would rarely wait seven days beyond your initial contact. If you call as soon as you have a delivery date, we can usually come within a day or two of delivery.

Then because we concentrate on a small regional area like New England, and don’t try to take on the entire country, we can manage it much better.  I can keep a close hands-on relationship with every installer and every customer.

Lastly, because I personally handle all of the initial communications and scheduling, the installers can do what they do best without interruption.  This also allows us to provide better customer service.  All of our submitted quote forms are responded to by me personally with a quote usually within minutes.  All phone calls are answered by me personally. Sometimes I get busy or am on another line, but all voicemails are responded to within minutes during normal business hours, and often well beyond.

How do you know that this is all true?  Check out Our Customer’s Reviews, as well as on Facebook.

We look forward to serving you,

Stan Hallett
